"I recently had the pleasure and good fortune of attending a one- on one upland game bird course with Dave Tuttle at River Run Taxidermy Studio located in Hallstead PA. 

The course was informative, well run and completely hands on.   I learned more in a full day than I ever expected. 

Dave’s knowledge and talent as both an instructor and a taxidermist are absolutely amazing.  He truly has the ability to teach, and his reassuring approach is extremely beneficial. Dave not only teaches you how to mount and finish upland birds but you also cover anatomy and habitat of the birds you are mounting.

I recently entered the chuckar partridge that I mounted in Dave’s course in the New England Taxidermy Associations competition and won a blue ribbon, I was extremely excited when I learned that I also won a ribbon for best in category.
